Segregating Public and Private API endpoints using API Gateway

The company had a few API’s running in the cloud and after getting acquired by a parent organization, it wanted to limit the access to those APIs across each department. The company required to expose defined private endpoints to other parts of the departments privately while keeping the subset of APIs public. NTA. were able to achieve the required functionality using Serverless architecture mainly using API Gateway REST Regional and Private endpoints with resource-based policies. This helped the company drive operational safety, efficiency, and maintain business continuity.

Enabling access of Private API endpoints to internal users over Direct Connect

Company had few API’s running in the AWS environment and required those API’s to be accessible to the customers over the internet and from their internal network securely using Direct Connect Network. Client wanted NTA to use Serverless Architecture to achieve the required functionality. NTA developed a solution mainly using API Gateway REST Regional, Private endpoints with resource-based policies and Direct Connect to fulfill the requirements. This helped the company to operate safely, and in a streamline manner.
